Privacy notice
For the Player Two waitlist. Last updated 24/10/2026.
Who we are
Player Two is a concept run by Tommy Evans in the UK. Tommy is responsible for your data.
What we collect
- Your email address
- Whether you're interested in dating, friends or both
- When you signed up
- A scrambled code made from your internet connection, used only to stop spam signups. We can't turn it back into your IP address.
- Which site sent you here, if any, so we know where interest comes from
Visiting without signing up
We count visits without cookies. For each visit we keep the date, the site that sent you here (for example Reddit), and a scrambled code that changes every day. That code lets us count each visitor once a day, but we can't use it to identify you or follow you from one day to the next.
What we use it for
Only to email you when Player Two has something to try, and to count how many people are interested in dating, friends or both. We don't sell it, share it, or use it for advertising. We use it because you asked us to (your consent).
Where it's kept
In a database hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process it outside the UK, under the safeguards in its data processing terms.
How long we keep it
Until Player Two launches or the idea is dropped, and for no more than two years either way. Then we delete it.
Your rights
You can ask Tommy to show you your data, correct it, or delete it at any time. To change whether you're interested in dating, friends or both, just sign up again with the same email. If you're unhappy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
